Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning and a blessed NEW MONTH to you as we start this last month of 2023. Today we also start our Advent series as we look forward to celebrating our Lord’s birthday. Sunday after Sunday as we gather to partake in the fellowship of the communion of our Lord, the celebration of the Lord’s Supper, we proclaim the Lord’s death and resurrection to the world. It is at this time however when we gather to celebrate His birth, this mystery of God become man, Immanuel, God with us,… paving the path for yet another mystery, God in us. Perhaps it is why Christmas is so enchanted with lights and sounds, and joy, and cheer because there is one certainty that we learn through all these mysteries: GOD LOVES US! And that fact gives birth to our HOPE that in the end, we will enjoy eternity in His presence. Hallelujah! Amin!

This Wednesday – December 6^th – Family Time & Christmas Experience

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, We will continue the series called “The Christmas Experience” from Kyle Idleman.

Online Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday from 7:15PM to 7:45PM

We are currently reading through Ecclesiastes. Please join us for this encouraging practice of the 1^st century church on Mondays & Thursdays. 30 minutes each time. Use the same link as Sunday Zoom.

World Vision Christmas Bake Sale – NEXT SUNDAY

We will be having a bake sale to benefit World Vision Christmas donation, next Sunday after the services (December 10^th). Our kids will help bake and sell sweet goodies. Please come with a sweet tooth and a giving heart to help make a joyful Christmas for those in need! May they also know the joy of Christ’s coming through our generous contribution.
