Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning and thank you for being here this last day of 2023. This year has zoomed by in a hurry. I look back and I have to confess that it is all a jumbled mess of memories and events I need more than a moment to sort out. The one constant throughout all this year and all these memories and events is that the Lord has been faithful. He always is! I sincerely hope that for you as well, looking back, no matter of events and circumstances, you can affirm this truth. It is based on this truth that I can wholeheartedly and without hesitation wish you a Happy & Joyful New Year 2024! I know that no matter what 2024 may bring our way, if we continue to hold on to Jesus in our faith, we will be all right! We will be more than all right! We will be at peace, we will be joyful as our hearts will be filled with things that our enemy can never steal. Remember His words through Isaiah – “18 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:18-19) Amen Lord! Amen!

This Wednesday – January 3^rd – Family Time & Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, We will start a new Bible Study.

Birthdays this week: Foy Palmer (2^nd), Beth Clary (6^th)

Online Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday – 7:15PM.

We hope that among your New Year Resolutions this year is to spend time with us reading the Bible together. This is a time ( in addition to you own personal Bible reading time), that offers us the possibility to be together in the word just as the Apostles and the early Church left by Christ, our Lord was. 100% pleasing to the Lord, I believe.

Christmas Dinner – THANK YOU

To all who were involved in preparing and serving this year’s fantastic Christmas Dinner a sincere THANK YOU for blessing us. May the Lord bless each one of you for loving us in this way.
