Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

We often times read in the Bible about encouraging words God offers to His people. They are promises to believe in when things seem to be out of control all around them. Although those words were written primarily to those in whose hearing, they were at first red, they are equally significant for us today. Their lives of faith are our lessons of faith. From their steadfast trust in God, we learn to trust today in God’s strength and wisdom. Or…at least we hope we learn. I often wonder how is it possible that among those professing faith in Christ there is still depression, and despair, but then I turn to the Psalms and realize that we are in a struggle for our minds and our hearts and it is a necessity that we constantly remind one another of God’s faithfulness, power and love. So, take heart! He IS!

This Wednesday – September 27^th – Family Time & Daniel Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, We will continue our Bible Study on the Book of Daniel.

Online Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday from 7:15PM to 7:45PM

We started the Zoom Bible reading with the book of Psalms. Please join for this encouraging practice of the 1^st century church on Mondays & Thursdays. 30 minutes each time. Use the same link as Sunday Zoom.

Bible Break – Ladies Bible Study

The Ladies Bible Study begins this Tuesday morning at 10AM. If you are not at work, please come and support this ministry as you grow in faith and understanding of the Word.

World Bible School

I’ve been thinking about a way to engage as many of our number as possible in an evangelistic/missionary effort and I thought that World Bible School could offer us that opportunity. Check out https://worldbibleschool.org/ and please let me know if you would be willing to be involved.
