Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Thank you for being part of our worship gathering this morning. May our good God restore and refresh your mind and spirit and may His love be abundantly felt in your life this day. May you be assured today even more that through the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ we have victory not only over sin but over the world and any hardship that we may encounter on this side of heaven. Let your heart not be troubled by momentary times of trouble but view them as futile attempts of our enemy to persuade you that God is not worth it. Let us not forget that God found us worthy. Worthy enough to enter human history like one of us and eventually sacrifice His life so that you and I can claim this victory as ours, in faith. As you sing and pray this morning let your heart be open and free to receive and be blessed with God’s peace, and thus quiet the enemy’s voice. 

This Wednesday – July 26^th – Family Time & Daniel Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, We will start a new Bible Study on the Book of Daniel.

Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani– Thank you Lord!

Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani has been released from prison after 1,681 days. However, Yousef and fellow Church of Iran pastor Matthias Haghnejad were summoned to face new, unspecified charges following an official complaint by a Church of Iran couple who accused them of “attempting to undermine national security” and who are believed to have been acting under police pressure. Yousef went to the prosecutor’s office in Rasht on 8 July as directed but was told to go home as the judge had not turned up. Continue to pray that he remains free.

Sunday Fellowship & Games – After Services

I love seeing people hang out after the services every Sunday and having a mini potluck. Thank you for strengthening the body of Christ in this way. Games & Volleyball are always available as well.
