Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

What a beautiful morning God has blessed us with today. The sun is shining strong, and the world is full of light. Yes, in spite of the ever-present darkness of the human mind, God’s light continues to shine on us. His favor continues to be on us as He patiently calls to our hearts offering hope. Of course, bot everyone sees it this way, but that should be our perspective if we indeed want to see God’s glory shine upon the world. All the colors your eyes see are actually the same light reflected off of objects at different wave lengths. Let all you see be reflected off of Jesus and your eyes will be full of light and your soul filled with love. Make that conscious decision and it will change everything in your life. Refuse to entertain any other option and not only you will be blessed but all the people around you will experience the truth of God’s love.

This Wednesday – August 23^rd – Family Time & Daniel Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, We will continue our Bible Study on the Book of Daniel.

After Services Sunday Fellowship

Instead of going to restaurants with long wait times and overpriced food, several of us have decided to hang around at church after services bringing a dish to share. Originally it was just bringing your own lunch, but it developed in a potluck of sorts. Feel free to hang around. There is always the opportunity to play a ball or table game as well if anyone so chooses.

Fish Fry & Country Low Boil – Thank you

A BIG THANK YOU to Charles & Maureen Tomes and Jeremy Parent for their loving of us through the delicious fish fry and low country boil from last Sunday. A special thanks to Charles’ sister for out of this world desserts. I believe there were other dessert contributors like Nadya and Della – thank you.
