Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

I pray that God will bless you this morning with His presence felt in a meaningful way. I pray that as we worship together our worship will be accepted and that God will increase our understanding of the things in our lives that stand between us and a deeper relationship with God.

We come together on Sundays to encourage one another but also to take an inventory of our own lives and thus identify the “weeds” that have crept in and that are putting all the good in us at risk of being chocked out.  One such encouragement was provided by the VBS and serving so many kids and their families. I commend you all for your sacrifices of time and any other resource you had or made available so we can finish the task.

Let us come together with true thanksgiving in our hearts as we praise God for all that He’s accomplished through us and in us this past week.

This Wednesday – August 16^th – Family Time & Daniel Bible Study

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, We will continue our Bible Study on the Book of Daniel.

Torchbearers VBS – THANK YOU

Torchbearers VBS was a complete success! Thank you Nadya for organizing it and thank you to all the volunteers who made it possible. All the children had loads of fun as they’ve learned about Paul and his missionary journeys and how to be missionaries in their own communities.

Fish Fry & Country Low Boil – After Services

The Tomes & Parent families are treating us to a fish fry and country low boil today after the services. Hang around and delight your senses with what promises to be a special meal and special time.
