Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Good morning and a blessed 2^nd Advent Sunday to you and yours. As always, I am grateful for your presence here, at Troy Church, this day and always. Today we celebrate the expectant PEACE of the arrival of our Savior, of our Salvation, for it is a great thing indeed, to know, that no matter what the world threatens our existence as Christians with, our Salvation is secure in Christ. We must always remember Jesus’ words as written by John, the Apostle; John 14:27  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. We must always rest secure in this assurance that our peace was given not as the world gives, with a price, with a condition, but freely and lovingly as only God does.

This Wednesday – December 13^th – Family Time & Christmas Experience

On Wednesday, we will meet in person for our Family Time at 6:00PM for those of you who want to bring their meal and eat it in the company of other brothers and sisters. This is our bi-weekly fellowship meal.

From 7PM, We will continue the series called “The Christmas Experience” from Kyle Idleman.

Online Bible Reading – Monday & Thursday from 7:15PM to 7:45PM

We are currently reading through Isaiah. Please join us for this encouraging practice of the 1^st century church on Mondays & Thursdays. 30 minutes each time. Use the same link as Sunday Zoom.

World Vision Christmas Bake Sale – TODAY

We will be having a bake sale to benefit World Vision Christmas donation, today after the services. Our kids have baked and will sell sweet goodies. Please come with a sweet tooth and a giving heart to help make a joyful Christmas for those in need! May they also know the joy of Christ’s coming through our generous contribution.
