Minister’s Corner

Good morning to you on another beautiful Lord’s Day and Καλό Μήνα – Kalo Mina, a good month to you

May God grant us His mercy today as we meet together to worship Him. May the Holy Spirit move in and through us with power and may our faith increase, equipping us with understanding and strength to live such lives as to bring only glory and honor to our God, and Father.

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July Independence Day celebration with family and friends. The Bible tells us that it was for Freedom that Christ has set us free and therefore we should not let ourselves be subject once again to a yoke of slavery. Let us remember that as we celebrate our freedom today and let us worship in Spirit and in truth for such are the worshipers that God desires. Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם (Peace be Upon You)

This Wednesday – July 8th – Family Time & Bible Study

This Wednesday I invite those of you who are willing to come join us at the building from 6:00 PM for our Family Time dinner. Bring your takeout or brown bag and “social distancing” at the building we will share a meal together.

From 7:00 PM we will continue our study of the commands in the New Testament. Please read Matthew 5 in preparation. We will have this study in person and also via Zoom for those who will be joining us from home.

Giveaway

There will be no Giveaway this year. After much consideration, due to still uncertain situation related to Covid-19 spread and recent spikes, we’ve decided to cancel the Giveaway this year. The Salvation Army accepts donations. Vietnam Veterans of America also can come and pick up any stuff you are donating from your driveway. Some of you have already brought stuff to the church building. If you want it back, please remove it before August 1st, otherwise we will take it to Salvation Army or call VVA to pick it up. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Bible Reading

We will continue the practice if Bible reading together Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This week we will read 1, 2 & 3 John and Jude. Thank you for continuing this journey through the New Testament with me and I pray it blesses you all as much as it has been blessing me.
