Minister’s Corner

Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!

Happy New Year 2021 once again as we are gathering this morning for the first worship gathering of the year. May our good and merciful God bestow upon us GRACE upon GRACE this year as we humble ourselves before Him and seek His face through prayer and devotion. The Bible shows beyond the shadow of doubt that events in the physical realm are connected to events in the spiritual realm and as such I believe that we live during times of critical importance to the Church and God’s plan for humanity. These are times of decision, of choices when the challenges presented to the people of faith may seem insurmountable, yet God promises to be with us always, to the very end, … TO THE VERY END! Let us thank Him today!

This Wednesday – January 6^th –Family Time & Bible Study - TBD

The goal is for us to meet in person and on Zoom this Wednesday, however, please remain flexible for the in person meeting until we are able to confirm none of our other members have presented symptoms or tested positive for Covid-19 until Wednesday morning. I will send an email on Wednesday morning. Please check your email.

Bible Reading

We will continue our weekly Bible Reading. It takes place on Tuesday and Friday from 7:30PM to 8:00PM and we are currently reading through the book of Exodus.

Offering

Don’t forget, for your convenience and safety you can still make your offering on line at http://ww.troychurch.net/give

We will not pass an offering tray/plate around. If you want to make your offering via cash or check please place it in the offering tray/plate as you exit the auditorium. Thank you.

Today’s Worship Service – Zoom ONLY

As I mentioned a few days ago, as Ron had a positive test for Covid-19 and he was present during our in-person worship service last Sunday, today we will only have worship via Zoom. We thank God that Ron is doing well and improving. Linda has symptoms but has not taken a test yet. Please continue to pray for the both of them.

2021

What a year 2020 has been! I can’t say that I am sad in the least to see it go. That being said, we need to take an account and figure out our road ahead. It is what we do at the end of every year and this year it should be no different. I would like your input .  2020 kind of suspended everything and everyone went in survival mode. Please let me know what things at Troy do you think of value, do you like to keep, and what things would you like to see changed. Perhaps what things do you not see that you would like to see be part of our church life. Please email me your input at manu@troychurch.net
