Minister’s Welcome

Good morning, on this last Sunday of March. I pray that you are coming in from a week in which you were able to experience God’s love and care in your life, and in which, you were the love and care that God showed someone else. A while ago I asked you to consider the question: Why do we get together on Sunday morning? What is worship? As we gather this morning, I hope that this question is still fresh in your mind and you are still pursuing the truth of this answer. May the love, joy and peace of our Lord, through his Spirit encourage you today, and strengthen you, as we sing and pray together, as we continue to explore the Fruit of the Spirit and as we gather around the bread and the wine of our Lord’s Communion; as we proclaim His death and resurrection, His victory over this world, His victory over death, AND the steadfast promise of OUR victory in HIM, eternally.

This Wednesday – March 9^th – Prophecy Study – 7:00PM

This Wednesday, we are returning to our prophecy study. We will be in the book of 1^st Samuel.

Family Time - 6:00PM-7:00PM: Thank you to all who were here last Wednesday for our potluck and birthday/anniversary celebrations. It was a good time. I hope to see you this week for Family fellowship time. Bring your take-out dinner and eat it as we fellowship with one another mid-week.

Homeless Care – April 1^st – 11:00AM

We had a very successful Homeless Care ministry last week and I look forward to serving with you this coming Saturday.

Luke & Leah Farewell – today after services

There will be a church gathering to honor Luke and Leah and thank them for their time with the Troy church. This will take place today (their last Sunday with us). There will be a potluck dinner following the morning worship service. Chicken and ham will be provided. All in the church family are encouraged to attend.

Family, Faith and Freedom

Colonel Oliver North, headlines Rochester College’s 46^th annual Partnership Dinner, which will be held at the Royal Park Hotel on Saturday, April 22^nd. You will be impressed by North’s timely message on “Family, Faith and Freedom.” For more information, contact Nancy Schroeder

Easter Egg-Hunt

I need your help to secure as many Easter plastic eggs as we can manage in a week’s time. Please bring next Sunday as many eggs as you can. Claudia was gracious to offer to fill them so we are in need of plastic eggs. Please see Claudia if you would like to help in other ways. Thank you in advance!
