Minister’s Corner

Good morning to you on this last Sunday of May. It is pretty incredible to think that we are just about to start the half year month!!! Where has time gone!!! Even in this new normal of mask and gloves and over sanitizing time is starting to move at a pace, I must confess, I do not enjoy.

Today we have another opportunity however to worship together, perhaps the last time exclusively through Zoom. It has served us well, but it is time for us to meet again in person and I look forward to seeing you all face to face. I miss it sooooooo much!!!! Until then, let us focus today on all of God’s blessings. Count and name them one by one! Count your blessings! See what God has done! Count your many blessings! Every doubt will fly! And you will be singing as the days go by! I love that song and the truth it expresses, so as we gather this morning I hope that you are in tune with this song and your hearts soar to God bringing sincere praise and recognition for His faithfulness, grace and love showered upon us!

This Wednesday – May 27th – Bible Study from 7:00 PM

This Wednesday I invite you again to meet online via Zoom, at 7:00 PM. I thought that it would be appealing, after studying God’s Laws in Leviticus to look at all the commands that exist in the New Testament. I’ve never done a study like that before and I am wondering if any of you did, but it would be great to have in a clear and concise form all the commands that exist in the New Testament.

I will send an email with log in details on Tuesday evening and a text reminder on Wednesday afternoon.

Elderly status check

Please continue to check on our elder members to make sure they are taking care of and are not in any need. As you do so please mark the file I set up on Google. File has been updated to today’s date. I will include the link with today’s email.

Bible Reading

This week we will continue reading together. We’ll finish 2 Corinthians tomorrow and start on Galatians on Tuesday. On Friday we will begin in Ephesians. Can you believe how much we’ve read together? I Love It!!! Please remember to use the right link or get in touch with me if you don’t have it. For the Bible reading it ends in 0379.

Services at the church building

Based on the latest developments in the sparring match between our Governor and the President, I expect that churches will be able to start in building meetings during these next two weeks. Please stay tuned but I expect us to start using the building again with the beginning of June. We will probably meet at the building on June 3rd for the Family Time (dinner together) and then on Sunday, June 7th for our worship service.

If June 7th will be a nice day, we may meet outside.

I am currently looking into the directions laid down by authorities in regard to the rules we need to abide when meeting in the building.

I will send out a more detailed e-mail as I analyze the information and communicate with leadership.
