Minister’s Corner
Shalom aleikhem! שָׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם Peace be upon you!
Good morning and Kαλό μήνα! Kalo mina! A good month to you on this 1st day of November. Looking out my window the sky, the leaves covered grass, the branches bending in the wind as they shed their leaves, it all screams of FALL. Picture perfect fall! And as I type, just now, for a brief few second the sun pierced through the clouds and warmth invaded my soul. The temperature in my living room did not change a bit, yet this ray of sunshine changed everything. To me this is Sunday! Sunday is the ray of sunshine that pierces the cold and brings warmth to the picture-perfect fall of our society, of our humanity. In the uncertainty of today’ society there is one thing certain, people are abandoning God and are putting themselves at the center of their existence and because of that there is a prevalent cold that settles in our souls and the only thing that alleviates it is Sunday. It is time spent with brothers and sisters of faith in the presence of our God and Father. I pray today warms your soul. Thank you for being with us!
This Wednesday – November 4th – Family Time & Bible Study
Wednesday I invite those of you who are willing to come join us at the building from 6:00 PM for our Family Time dinner. Bring your takeout or brown bag at the building and have it together with us.
From 7:00 PM we will continue this interesting study of the Book of Genesis following the book Genesis – God, Creation and Destruction by Dennis Prager as facilitated by Charles.

Bible Reading
I invite you to join us in the journey of reading the entire Bible chronologically following the Chronological NIV Study Bible. We are at chapter 18 of Genesis and we read on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 7:30 PM to 8:00PM.
Small Group
With my soccer coaching season being over I was thinking again about a small group study. This would be in person as well as zoom and will be limited to an hour in length. As I am prayerfully seeking guidance, I ask that you also start praying about being a part of a small group or leading a small group. Stay tuned!

We hope and pray that everyone is doing well today and staying safe.
This year we have been impacted greatly by COVID and are in need of your help. We are in need of folks to come out to camp and help us do some fall maintenance and keep things looking great. Several small projects are: Trim Trails; Trim up dead branches on pine trees for new activity areas; Split wood; Rake or blow leaves as they begin to fall; Create pad sites for picnic tables
November 1, 7, 8, 14, and 15. Again, weekdays are good as well.
