Proverbs 28:6 Better a poor man whose walk is blameless than a rich man whose ways are perverse.

This passage does not infer that all who are rich are perverse or all who are poor are blameless. Some choose not to make a profit at the cost of their integrity, if poverty is the result, then so-be-it. Conversely, there are some who choose wealth at any cost. In that case, being rich is too costly. After all, if one would be deceptive in matters of finances, how long before deception becomes a way of life? God’s desire is that we keep our lives above reproach so that all we acquire comes with His blessing and the respect of others. Have a weekend enriched by that, which really matters.
